The world’s greatest guy!
I have the worst morning temper! Well, maybe not as bad my bestie, Elin, but very close… I really hate getting up early. I love love love to sleep in until I wake up by myself when I’ve had enough sleep and it’s no longer dark outside. Today when my alarm went off, the room felt so cold, and I just wanted to stay under my warm, cozy blanket and sleep for another good hour or two (or three!)… When I’m finally up I’m shivering of cold and feel so sorry for myself! I would do just about anything to go back to bed… But it usually helps with a warm shower (they say cold is better, but I’m not gonna torture myself anymore than I already do!).
Yesterday we had an insane number of customers! Michaela and I were running around all day, and even the boss had to help out to make the line move faster. Today wasn’t half as much people in the shopping center, but on the other hand it’s just a regular Monday. It felt good to ”relax” (read: clean, mop the floor, refill containers, have conversations with nice customers etc).
At my half-hour break I was gonna forget about MacDonald’s and have sushi instead. When I was gonna pay for my food at the cashier I didn’t get my credit card to work, and I had no cash. I had no idea what to do, since I was running out of time and really needed something to eat! And then, from OUT OF THE BLUE this good-looking guy stepped towards me and handed me 100 SEK! I said that I couldn’t possibly let him pay for it, but he said that I could pay him back another day since he’s around the shopping center a lot. I didn’t have much of a choice other than to say ”thank you” and accept the money. I told him where I work, so he can let me return the favor. I was shocked by this stranger’s kindness, but it felt so heart-warming that someone actually cared about me getting a boost of energy! I hope to see him again!
The day has been long (8 am-8 pm) and I will work every day until my surgery on Thursday. I’m trying to get enough sleep, but it’s difficult. When I get home after being gone all day I want to do something else than sleep and eat. SO, I’m returning a bunch of e-mails, doing some instant messaging and listening to re-runs of Beverly Hills.
Until we speak again, take care!

…With a best-selling smile =P You’re so cute Jen, even in orange! That’s really some favour, huh? Would have been strange enough abroad, are you sure he was Swedish? You should ask him out in return, he’s almost worth it.

My hair use to be that bright orange color when I was a kid. Scary, huh?

Last time I checked, orange clothes weren’t made for _anyone_… Is this Mark some kind of pumpkin man?

Mark is a handsome man with the Irish look! But Mark, your ancestors were Germans, right?

My ancestors were Austrian and Russian.
It’s a mystery how I ended up looking Irish, ha!
